This 1/8th scale railroad travels through the North end of Lakes Park into areas only accessible by rail. The tracks are 7.5″ wide and the route is approximately a mile long. The trip takes roughly 15 minutes to ride through the wooded areas, pass little villages from the 1950’s, through a tunnel, pass lakes & waterfalls, and over a trestle bridge.

The Museum is located directly across from the Train Station, with the entrance to the Museum & Gift Shop to the left of the Ticket Window. Feel free to tour our 3200 square foot museum. Enjoy the many artifacts, pictures, model railroads, books and items from past Florida Railroads. Sit and try out our hands-on, interactive Train-Simulator with operational features that allow you to operate a train at various speeds through SW Florida.
